BALTIMORE
- Mike Parsons, CMPS
of Nationwide Home Mortgage, Inc. in Rockville
was elected and installed as the new volunteer
president of the Maryland Association of Mortgage
Professionals (MAMP) during ceremonies in
Baltimore on April 7. He succeeds Eric
Gates, CRMS, CMPS of Apex Home
Loans, Inc. in Bethesda as the leader of the
non-profit professional organization.
Over
the past year Parsons has been very involved
with strategic planning for the membership
based association, most specifically in terms
of helping to grow membership.
In
addition to Parsons, Brooks
Bosley, CRMS of Home Savings of
America in Centreville was elected and installed
to serve as president-elect along with Rick
Rall of Navigator Financial Services
in Severna Park who will serve as the association's
vice president.
Charles
Reid, III of Florida Capital Bank
Mortgage in Brooklandville will continue to
serve as secretary and Christine
Wagner of SunTrust Mortgage was
re-elected as MAMP's treasurer.
Elected to serve two-year terms on the association's
board of directors were: Walter
Alton
of Proficio Mortgage Ventures LLC in Maple
Lawn, Md. and
Hans Lundgren of The National
Mortgage Store in Columbia.
Re-elected
to serve on the board were: Eric
Delgado of
Diversified Financial Mortgage, Rockville;
Ken Venick
of Equity Mortgage Lending, Owings Mills and
Deborah
Dennis of Corridor Mortgage Group,
Marriotsville.
Continuing
on the board are: Jim
Clements of 1st Financial, Inc.,
Annapolis; Allan Gushue
of Bi-Coastal Mortgage Inc., Lutherville;
Karyn
Bullock of 2 Blue Chip Professionals,
Owings Mills and
Shannon Eubanks
of First Equity Title Corporation,
Catonsville.
Thomas
C. Shaner, CAE
and Jenny Smith
of The Joseph E. Shaner Co. in Baltimore will
continue as MAMPs executive director
and associate executive director, respectively.
The
induction of officers took place on the first
day of the 2010 MAMP Convention for which
mortgage professionals and affiliates from
all over Maryland were in attendance. MAMP
leaders are already at work planning the 2011
MAMP Annual Convention and Exposition.
