MAMB Changes Name to Maryland Association of Mortgage Professionals (MAMP)

MAMB has announced a new name and brand identity. Formerly known as the Maryland Association of Mortgage Brokers, the association will now be known as Maryland Association of Mortgage Professionals. MAMP is the leading not for profit association providing educational, legislative and networking services to residential and commercial Mortgage Brokers throughout Maryland. "We recognize that with the changes in the market our membership has also changed to represent a more diverse group of mortgage professionals," says Tom Shaner, Executive Director of MAMP.

Today, MAMP comprises over 500 members in addition to its extensive 51-chapter network across North America. Its principal membership is brokers, loan officers, and affiliates of all product types in the mortgage industry, in addition to a wide-ranging scope of professionals who support the industry, including partners and banks.
