Over 800 mortgage industry professionals attended MAMP's recent 2008 Conference and Exposition, demonstrating that MAMP is still the primary source mortgage professionals turn to when searching for networking opportunities, education, and marketing opportunities.

Visiting from West Virginia, NAMB President-elect Marc Savitt was thrilled with the "fantastic attendance" and "exciting atmosphere." Commenting on the high quality of individuals in attendance, exhibitor Brooks Bosley of Washington Mutual High said, "The Exposition provided us with a high number of real business opportunities and quality candidates."

The conference also featured several educational programs presented by industry experts that were designed to be relevant and helpful to loan originators and brokers in today's mortgage industry market.

MAMP Honors Homeowners Preservation Task Force, Several Others with 2008 Awards

ONLINE NOTES/MATERIALS FROM MAMP EDUCATION PROGRAMS

	Patty McGill, president of Money Marketing Inc. in Frederick, Md., presented the education program, "Putting Teeth in Ethics". In her presentation, McGill relied heavily on her three decades of experience which has included service as president of NAMB and chair of NAMB's Ethics Committee.
	With Baltimore's Inner Harbor serving as a backdrop, the CMPS Institute's Gibran Nicholas presented "2008 Credit Crunch Solutions" illustrating strategies and tactics that mortgage originators can implement to thrive in the current marketplace.

Total attendance was over 800. NAMB's President-elect Marc Savitt visiting from West Virginia, commented, "This program drew fantastic attendance with an exciting atmosphere."

	Ivan Lowe, Peter Bounelis, Brian Morley, and Tom Biegler formed an enthusiastic team at The Columbia Bank booth. The Columbia Bank is a MAMP Silver Partner.
	Rick Lynard, Gary Mills and Jeff Starke at the First Horizon Wholesale booth demonstrated how their array of financial products would enable attendees to close more loans and expand into new client markets. First Horizon is a Silver MAMP Partner.
	MAMP Silver Partner Eastern Savings Bank featured a great booth and great team of Wes Steg, Stacey Gerald, Antoinette Miles and Mike Williams which educated attendees on the Bank's flexibility and creativity in structuring and approving loans.
	Susan Sanders, Doug Edwards and Lissett Kocik promoted the mortgage brokers & bankers insurance and E & O products offered by MAMP Bronze Partner Oxley & Goldburn Insurance.
	A national leader in the wholesale mortgage business MAMP Gold Partner Flagstar Bank was represented by a rather large cast of enthusiastic professionals.
